The 5 :2 Shake Diet Diary week 2

Good morning my loves. So this week was a hell of a lot harder than last week as we got to Monday weigh in day to find after my first week I had lost nothing and stayed the same weight so disappointed so that put me in a mood.

Like my mum said forget about what the scales say at this point its about getting used to eating healthy and being more active, that then set our mind set and we was off again or was we. I then became ill with this chest infection an it knocked me out completely meaning i did not exercise at all this week so im not really expecting great results.

So Monday night we had BBQ chicken with warm green bean and tomatoe salad this was the best meal I have eaten and cooked, we loved every bit of it.

Tuesday: Shake day this wasn't to bad of day to be honest as I was ill and couldn't eat a lot so I had lots of water that day and had nothing to eat other than the shakes. I decided to stick to the same flavors as I had the week before not that adventurous i know but i didnt want to risk not liking one when everything tasted funny anyway.


Wednesday & Friday: So I was still ill couldnt eat much so basically didnt all i could eat was soft food then i didnt eat the food once it was done, so my mum decided to make a homemade mushroom soup. OMG this was amazing just want i needed perfect for this time of year and weather being so cold outside.

Thursday: Its day 2 of shakes and I decided to have vanilla and soon regretted this afer a few slips it was discusting, i as left with an after taste in my mouth really horrible. so after having this shake i decided to head back to bed and didnt wake up until later that night and decided not to have a second shake. 

Saturday & Sunday: I woke up saturday morning feeling a lot better and was able to eat normally, so i had fruit and greek yoghurt for breakfast, skipped lunch and went straught for dinner with a chicken sweetcorn omlette this was so nice just being able to eat properly. Sunday ive had fruit and greek yoghurt for breakfast again im loving having fruit in the morning. We are going out for dinner so this will be a test im looking at having a sunday roast with lots of veg or a nice chicken salad. 


So that was my second week and its been a pretty shit one, but next week im going to try my best to get more active and focus more on what i eat.
