The 5:2 shake Diet Diary weeks 3-4
Hello you lovely bunch so I’ve decided combined weeks 3 and
4 together as I feel like these little
updates will be the same and I don’t want them to become boring.
Week 3:
Within this week I lost 4lbs and this felt so good knowing
that something is working. Im not getting bored of the shakes just yet so
that’s a good thing and the main thing I thought I’d struggle with was eating
healthy and keep that up but im actually enjoying it. One thing I have noticed
is that if I have something naughty like some crumpets for a treat I don’t like
them as they made me feel sick all I could taste was the grease and fat in them
so it seems my taste buds have changed.
Food I’ve eaten during the week:
I’ve mainly been have fruit and Greek yoghurt for breakfast,
lunch is something light like a wrap with different filling each day for
instance todays was a chicken wholegrain wrap with salad and im just having one
of those. For dinner one night we had sweet potato jackets these were gorgeous
we had this with a nice side salad. The main thing with the meals we have been
having is to make sure they are healthy and I have most defiantly cut down the
portion size I have for instance I used to fill the plate up till you couldn’t
see the pattern on the plate but now it’s a different story you can always see
the outside pattern. For snacks I’ve
tried really hard not to snack but when I get those days that I just can’t help
but snack I’ve been having Alpen bars omg these are amazing just fills that lil
gap of hunger and they are only 90 calories per bar so that’s a result.
Shakes:
So this week it has Coffee latte and hazelnut omg these are
amazing. It still amazes me how these shakes actually taste like the flavour.
Before starting these shakes I did think they was going to taste rank and I
wouldn’t stick to them or like them but now I would be happy to do a third day on them they are that nice and now
I can also see results myself.
Week 4:
So this week has been full of emotions I’ve gone through I
can’t do this to I’ve got this in the bag. It all started off on weigh in day
where I put on a 1lb now I know it’s not much but from losing 4lbs last week to
putting back on one of those lbs I lost was a bit of a setback. I mean I
thought I had done well last week I had eaten healthy all week had the right
amount of shakes and everything so I thought I was on the right track then that
happened. This meant that day I was so down in the dumps about it I decided to
have some comfort food well this was the worst thing I could have done I had
toast and biscuits with my tea so Im dreading weigh in day next week. However
even though I had that one bad day the rest of the week I was good I’ve even
started to go for a run in the evenings try and burn some of those biscuits off
I had the start of the week.
Food I’ve eaten during the week:
So we all know I had toast and biscuits not going lie
they were nice but they are also naughty so a once in a while thing. For
breakfast again it’s my fav fruit and Greek yoghurt I don’t know what it is but
I seem to just enjoy it and when I have my shakes instead I kind of miss the
fruit in the morning. Lunch I’ve been having some homemade soup that my
wonderful mum made its vegetable soup and it’s lovely.
Shakes:
So this week I had mint chocolate shake now this was the
best so far I feel like this is my fav not going to lie I could have this one
all the time. I also ended up have the vanilla now I had this one before when I
had a cold and did not like this one at all and I thought I’d give it a try
again now that the cold has gone but
nope it’s the same story its rank I am most defiantly not having vanilla
again.
