The Christmas Tag
I first saw this tag on Miss Budget Beauty a few weeks go and knew straight away I was going to do the tag. As its almost Christmas I thought it was about time I actually did the tag. So lets get started....
1. What is your favorite christmas movie ?
Hands down it has to be elf the movie I don't know what it is about that film but I frigging love that film. It's got to the stage where that seems to be the only film I end up watching over the christmas period.
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning ?
I normally open them on both as on christmas eve we normally have a mini get together with my mum's side of the family where we would then share and open presents together. We would then have christmas day as a family of me my mum and my dad and share and open them presents together. Sometimes we would leave my dads sides present's and open them on boxing day so that christmas was spread over the three days.
3. Do you have a favorite christmas memory?
One of my few memories I have of spending christmas with my dad's side of the family was when I was about 8 (I think) my grandad made a huge snowman out of all different material and hid all our christmas presents in the snowman, so when we all went round there this massive snowman stood in the front room for me and my younger cousin hannah to find the presents and hand them out to each other. This is the only christmas memory I have of christmas time with my dad's side of the family and its a good one to me.
4.Favorite festive food?
My all time favorite food at christmas has to be the christmas dinner with all the trimmings (turkey,roast potatoes, parsnips, roast vegetables, stuffing and mums home made carrot and swede mash is the best). Other than the christmas dinner id have to say the main run up to christmas with sweets .
5.Favorite Christmas Gift?
Hands down one of my favorite christmas gifts would have to be my dog lilly. one of the best presents I have ever received I don't think anything could top that presents. I mean look at her how cute is she.
6.Favorite Christmas Scent?
This is a hard one there is so many scents at christmas I love but I think I will have to say it would be the smell of cinnamon.
7. Do you have a Christmas eve tradition ?
As I said before we normally have a get together with my mum's side of the family which we share out our presents we bought each other which is lovely because you get to see everyone and its nice just to get together. However this years a little different as the main man (my grandad) isn't here anymore even though I do believe he will be there on the day in spirit, we have decided to not have the get together as its the first year without him and everyone knows its going to be hard without him here to celebrate the day with us.
8.what tops your tree?
A couple of years ago it was always an angle that topped the tree which I loved as she changed colour, she soon broke so we decided to get a star and lights set combo that wrap around the tree and the star then sits on top of the tree this year.
9.As a kid what was the gift you always wanted but never received?
Iv always wanted guitar for christmas so that I could learn to play I never got one until a couple of months ago I think my mum thought of the noise id be making with it more than anything.
10. Whats the best part of Christmas for you?
Id have to say the best part of christmas is being able to spent quality time with the family without having to worry about work or anything really, just being able to relax at home watching family movies and snuggling on the sofa eating far too much food for your liking. Spending the next 5 weeks waddling around and trying to lose a pound or two.
